New Year’s Eve

First of all, we had a fantastic New Year’s Eve. Dinner at a fancy restaurant and then a concert. Sheer perfection. And then I went to the bathroom, and missed the NYE countdown. Horrifying. Who does that? In my defense, anyone who knows me knows that I go to the bathroom a lot. So maybe it’s kinda fitting that’s where I spent my first few moments of 2015??

Needless to say, I burst out of that bathroom like it was on fire to find Garett. He was waiting for me ever so patiently to ring in the new year together. Even so, I think it’s going to be a long time before he lets me off the hook for that one…

Where’d you spend your first moments of 2015? I hope it was wonderful!

  1. Lauren – I’m sure that by now you have heard about New Year’s Eve at your parents’ home. Great food, great friends and a great time was had by all. There was a small glitch. Let me set the scene. Mark had his usual massive amount of equipment and was playing all our favorite tunes. Midnight was fast approaching. Time for the year’s first kisses and champagne toasts. Fireworks were set on the dock and the TV was tuned to Times Square for the ball drop welcoming 2015. Suddenly, from the dock, fireworks exploded in the air……clock was ticking….5-4-3-2-1 …the ball dropped. Auld Lang Sine was filtering through the mayhem…..one problem….most of the men were outside watching the premature fireworks display and the women were inside waiting for their first kiss of 2015!!!!! It has now been dubbed the “Polish New Year Celebration” Hopefully next year we’ll get it right…countdown….Kisses and then fireworks!
P.S. the champagne was totally forgotten in the confusion!!!!!

    Love ya! Cindy

    1. Ha! What a scene. That’s what I’d expect from Robbie and company. Fireworks are stiff competition when it comes to grabbing their attention. I’m sure you ladies will set those men straight for what needs to happen NYE 2016. I’m looking forward to hearing more about the shenanigans y’all enjoy in 2015. I can’t believe it’s flying-by so quickly!
